Tobacco Fountain
I designed and carved this fountain for a third generation tobacco farmer in Kinston NC. I spent two months of my lunch breaks sketching tobacco plants before I started. The spillway was carved using the actual spillway that he drank from as a child as a template. The bracket supporting the fountain can be found in the molding of their home. The fountain took 9 months to carve. It is a great pleasure to invest the currency of my life in people who appreciate it and deserve it.
